Ⅰ.Summary
I choose the poem is written by Emily Dickinson. I think it is a rhyme written about yesterday.The writer expresses with her unique rhythm that feeling of uncertainly.
私が選んだ詩はEmily Dickinsonによって書かれました。この詩はYesterdayについて書かれた押韻詩であると私は思います。筆者はYesterdayに感じた無常を独特なリズムを用いて表現しています。
Ⅱ.Reaction
1. Connotation
When I read this poem, I found a point in question. First, although it is not at the beginning of sentence, words are written in capital letters. I think she wanted to express that the words are important by using in capital letters.Also, I think expressing that her richness of feeling in using "Flutter".It is expressed the particular her sensibility of richness.
私はこの詩を読んでいくつかの疑問を見つけました。まず、文頭で無い箇所でも大文字を多用している点です。筆者は大文字を使うことによってその語の重要さを表現したかったのでしょうか。また、Flutterという単語を使っているところも不思議だと感じました。彼女特有の感性の豊かさが表れていると思います。
2. Imagery
In this poem,"Yesterday" is compared with "poetry", "mystery", etc. Some wards can translating to different mean, but is it all common to the point it is an unsubstantial. When I read a last part in this poem, "While we shrewdly speculate flutten both away" I thought of a sandglass.Because,"Yesterday" is compared not actual,as if it has expressed to visible.
この詩の中で、Yesterdayはhistory, poetry, mysteryなどに喩えられています。それらの語は様々な意味に訳すことが出来ますが、どれも実態を持たないという点で共通しています。私はこの詩の最後、while we shrewdly speculate flutten both awayの部分を読むと、砂時計を思い浮かべます。実態のないものとして喩えられているyesterdayが、まるで目に見えるもののように表現されているからです。
III. General Opinion
I think this poem is bring action have to more important happen in daily life. I don't know my interpretation about the poem, so English much more means in a word to Japanese, I think it is handed down from form of the poem are easy to read.
この詩は日常をもっと大切に過ごすべきであるということを訴えているように感じました。ひとつひとつの語に意味があるので自分の解釈が正しいか分かりませんが、筆者の思いが詩の形式からも伝わり、読み易い詩であると思います。
